Dr Clown - Expert in laughter

You play as Dr Clown, the foremost expert in laughter in the entire country. 

Study and experience has lead to Dr Clown's distinctive form of therapy: prank desensitization and reprocessing. A form of exposure therapy where a qualified Circus Clown Practitioner (CCP) induces joy and laughter to the patient, and those all around. Dr Clown shrewdly achieves this through fun methods such as carefully applying extreme force to the cranium of the patient with a specialised clown hammer - or as he likes to call it: pranking.

Unfortunately, Big Psychiatry is out to get Dr Clown, making petty statements that Dr Clown's methods are 'violent', 'psychotic' and worst of all: 'pseudoscience'. It also doesn't help that the police seem to follow Dr Clown wherever he practices.

However, Dr Clown is not easily deterred, and is eager to spread fun across the state by giving free trials of his therapy to the depressed people of this once happy nation.

Play through four different stages

Try to use utilise Dr Clown's new method of therapy and prank all of the misery guts in each level. Find and use unique items found on each stage to discover new ways of spreading joy to the civilian populace. But don't hang around too long, as the police will try to stop you in your noble mission.

And don't forget to have fun yourself, after all, what's better than bringing happiness to others?

The idea for this game originally came from an idea for Global Game Jam 2024 (which had the theme: 'Make me laugh'), but I decided to work on it as a side project. I hope you enjoy playing as much as I had working on it.
